2 concepts in one place
Surtain Surf offers two types of accommodation with a different concept, both located a short distance from the surf spots.
The accommodations are in the village of Le Pou, in the commune of Surtainville. Local shops (bakery, grocery shop, hairdresser, etc.) are just 1km from Surtain Surf, and the Laguettes area is just a 5-minute walk away, with its playground, skate park and restaurant. This is where the summer market takes place every Wednesday evening (sale of local produce, concerts, etc.).
The Surtain Surf House
The Surtain Surf House is very similar to a surf camp. It’s the ideal place to take advantage of a whole infrastructure (surf school and accommodation) linked to surfing. An immersive experience for discovering surfing, making progress and meeting new people in a friendly atmosphere.
Rooms and communal areas are shared. The Surtain Surf House has been restored and designed to make everyone feel at home. A welcoming, warm and friendly place.
The Surtain Surf House is next door to the surf school. It’s this proximity that will give you a real immersion in surf culture.

A house located 5 minutes from the beach and shops. It sleeps up to 8 people in 3 spacious, comfortable bedrooms (double or shared). On the ground floor, there is a large, bright communal area, open between the living room, kitchen and dining room. Tastefully decorated, the house is a warm, friendly place to meet and share. It has a large, landscaped, south-west-facing courtyard.
It’s a real invitation to discover the spirit of surfing to the rhythm of the wind and the tides.
The Surtain Surf House concept is a combination of accommodation and surfing lessons. The common areas of the house are shared. Elise will be on hand to welcome you and Ben will help you organise the surfing programme for your stay, depending on the tides and weather conditions.
This package is available in high season (6 nights/5 surf lessons) and mid-season (1 night/1 surf lesson).
In low season, you can only rent the accommodation.
The Surtain Guest House
The Surtain Guest House is the ideal place for those looking for privacy. Here you can choose whether or not to combine your stay with surfing (surfing lessons or equipment hire).
This house is ideal for families, friends and couples. Holidaymakers who are independent and autonomous in organising their stay.
